Motherboard
A mother board is the central circuit board of your computer. All other components and peripherals plug into it and the job of the motherboard is to relay information between them all. Despite the fact that a better motherboard will not add to the speed of your PC it is none-the-less important to have one that is both stable and reliable,as it is vital.

Hard Drive
a hard drive is a data storage device used for storing and retrieving digital information using rapidly rotating disks coated with magnetic material. A hard drive consists of one or more rigid hard rapidly rotating disks with magnetic heads arranged on a moving actuator arm to read and write data to the surfaces the arm is lifted above the platter by a thin layer of air that is created by the rapid rotation of the disk this is because there is a vacuum in the hard drive that takes all the air out of it.

Graphics Card
Graphics cards are used to amplify graphics and make the display faster and better resolution.
The graphics card is an expansion card which generates a feed of output images to a display. Most video cards offer various functions such as accelerated rendering of 3D scenes and 2D graphic.

CPU
The central processing unit is the hardware within a computer that carries out the instructions of a computer program by performing the basic input/output operations of the system.computers can have more than one CPU  this is called multi-processing.

RAM
RAM is made up of small memory chips that form a memory module. These modules are installed in the RAM slots on the motherboard of your computer.Every time you open a program it gets loaded from the hard drive into the RAM. This is because reading data from the RAM is much faster than reading data from the hard drive. The more ram you have the ore data that can be stored.
